University life just happens to be like that, yo. The drama never really ceases, it can be difficult to make friends, and talking face-to-face with people IS tiring. But in the end, you sort of get used to it. You have to. Also, it may seem like a second high school. At least, that's what my experiences here have told me.

What is life, man.

I'd like to say that, despite our distances and our conversations that are rare nowadays - that I'm proud of how far each of you have come. And that despite how we still seem to be kinda struggling on with our own problems, we're still alive and kicking - with a sense of rebellion and vigour that I, of course, always admire. I've just come to realize that it's almost the end of the year - talk about time really passing by!

Today was my first day at university.
And I asked my classmates if they liked caterpillars.

There wasn't much response so, I attempted to switch the topic to 'hobbies'.
They found this funny. I am still not sure if this is how friends are made in real life ._.
But, yes...
One did rugby till a year back, the other did cricket, another reads philosophy books, I can't quite remember what the quiet guy in the corner mumbled...and the other girl, I don't remember what she said.

But she's an informative person. Attempted to check all 92 of us out by cross referencing names to facebook accounts. I do not have a facebook, luckily. She told me not to judge her as a stalker. I did not.

Starting tomorrow, I will have to refer to all of my lecturers as either 'doctor' or 'professor' as i've been told it is insulting to refer to them as 'sir' or 'miss/mrs' because they are part of an 'education community' not a 'school'. There's a difference. ._.

There are three people named Yohan, Bohan and Rohan respectively on my course.

I think I probably need to stop making comments like "Man, this staircase is low. If you fell down there you'd probably break your head in." without thinking. It seems to make people uncomfortable.

Talking to people face to face is tiring.

I will attempt this again tomorrow.

And this is your summary of my first day in university, Kenji. :o
